PGA Professional 

Walton Heath Golf Club Walton Heath Golf Club is one of the world’s most highly regarded golf clubs, famous for its rich golfing and political history and the quality of its two exceptional heathland courses. Former Captains have included King Edward VIII and our first Professional was five-time Open Champion, and PGA co-founder, James Braid. Over the years, the Club has played host to the 1981 Ryder Cup, 2011 Senior Open and the 2023 AIG Women’s Open.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified PGA Professional to join the team on a one year maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience at a world-class Members club. We are looking for a friendly, motivated individual, who is confident, can work as part of a team and provide a first-class service to both members and visitors. This role is ideally suited to a PGA Professional who is keen to enhance their coaching and custom fitting skills whilst working at a Championship venue.

Reporting to the Head Professional, the successful applicant will have developed a positive teaching reputation, excellent communication skills and good experience of custom fitting. 

  Duties will include but not limited to:
• Offering first-class customer service.
• Teaching members and visitors of all ages.
• Retail, Merchandising and Inventory management.
• Custom fitting, demand creation and forecasting.
• Playing with members and representing the golf club at all times.
• 30 Hours per week, over 7 days including weekends, annualised over the year.
